CONCORD, N.C. — Venturini Motorsports and Sean Hingorani are heading West to take on the ARCA Menards Series West championship.
Hingorani and VMS, the winningest team in ARCA history, will now be collectively battling for both the ARCA Menards Series East and West championships. Correspondingly, VMS is in contention for all three ARCA series championship titles, an unprecedented endeavor for the team.

In addition to vying for both the East and West Series championships, Hingorani will be taking on four ARCA Menards Series (national) races at Phoenix Raceway, Michigan’s Berlin Raceway, the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Toledo Speedway.
“This is definitely going to be a learning year for us with a new team and so many new tracks that we’ll be seeing for the first time,” Hingorani said. “Our goal is to be competitive and really put ourselves in a position to win the race every time out. Ultimately, I want to keep progressing in my career and win championships. I’m confident running with VMS and Toyota is going to give me a real shot of reaching these goals in 2023 and beyond.”
Added team owner Billy Venturini on the expansion of Hingorani’s 2023 race schedule: “Sean has a sizable schedule for this year. Our goal is to make the most out of it and compete for wins. We’re excited to help him grow as a driver so he can reach the top levels of NASCAR.”
A paramount season for Venturini Motorsports, 2023 marks the first season in which the team has challenged for the West Series title. Furthermore, this makes Venturini Motorsports the first team in ARCA history to take on all three championships in a single season.
“I’m looking forward to going out West and traveling to cities I’m not as familiar with,” Billy Venturini said. “I’ve been in racing for 41 years, so to be able to spice it up with new variety is a welcome change for me and my team.”
Hingorani describes the decision to take on this challenging race schedule as an opportunity to solidify an indispensable racing foundation for a developing driver.
“I feel at home on the racetrack, so it’s always been my goal to race as much as possible,” he said. “Running in the ARCA East, West and main series will help me see a wide range of tracks and get a lot of time in the seat, which will ultimately strengthen my race craft.”
Venturini Motorsports will be collaborating with Jerry Pitts Racing throughout the 2023 West Series season.
“I have known Jerry for a long time and I have a lot of trust in him,” Billy Venturini said. “On top of that, it’s always fun when you can work with old friends to achieve goals. I just want to thank him for helping to make this West venture possible with both VMS and Jerry Pitts Racing.”
Pitts also shared his enthusiasm regarding this new challenge: “I’m looking forward to being able to collaborate with Venturini Motorsports on the ARCA West project with Billy and the team.”
Hingorani is eager to rise to the challenge of his enhanced 2023 race slate and is set to make his VMS debut at Phoenix Raceway on March 10 for the combined ARCA Menards Seroes and West Series race. Hingorani’s East Series season will kick off at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, on March 25.
